Our Story
During the 1940's and 1950's, many people moved to Arizona for the climate and the business opportunities. The Wulbrecht family came from Michigan in 1945 and started a trailer park on Grand Avenue and Osborn and named it Michigan Trailer Park. It was a trend at the time to name your business after your home state to attract snowbirds moving to the Valley. Maury and Richard Wulbrecht started an RV business at that location in 1966. They moved to the present location, 4140 Grand Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona in 1970.
September 1, 2003, Maury Wulbrecht sold his company to Jim Bridges who has worked in the industry for over 27 years in the Valley, and his wife Tracy Bridges. He has brought his expertise in the RV business and reputation for service and integrity to Michigan Trailer Sales and will continue to uphold its reputation for the best service available in the Valley.
